Overview

What does the WhatsApp Group Extractor do?

The Casii WhatsApp Group Extractor turns the member lists of WhatsApp groups you have joined into an Excel file. It works inside the Casii desktop app for Windows, where you log in to WhatsApp with your own account. Open a group chat, click the export button in the chat header and choose one or more of your groups. Casii collects the phone numbers and WhatsApp display names of the members your account can see, leaves out your own number, can skip group admins and removes duplicates by phone across the selected groups; members whose numbers are hidden from your account are skipped. The contacts are saved to your Casii lead library, where you can tag them, export them as an .xlsx file or reach them with a campaign. You don’t need admin rights, but your account must be a member of the group.

    Download Casii

    Install the Casii desktop app for Windows and sign in to your workspace.

    Log in to WhatsApp and open the group

    Add your WhatsApp account in Casii and open the group chat. The account must be a member of the group; admin rights are not needed.

    Export members to Excel

    Click the export button in the chat header and choose your groups. Members are deduplicated by phone and saved to your lead library, which exports to Excel (.xlsx).
